Privacy Policy

Last updated October 14, 2026

This policy explains what information Funding Today collects when you visit funding-today.com, talk with us, or ask us to help your business find funding, and how that information is used and shared. Funding Today is a business funding broker, not a lender. We connect businesses with independent funders, and those funders make their own decisions.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

When you complete our funding application or speak with us, you may provide:

  • Business details such as your legal business name, industry, state, time in business, average monthly revenue, the amount and purpose of the funding you want, whether you have open advances or loans, and an estimated range for your personal credit score.
  • Contact details such as your name, email address, mobile phone number and the best time to reach you.
  • Information you share later by phone, text, chat or email, including documents you choose to send, such as business bank statements, so funders can review your request.

Our website form does not ask for Social Security numbers, bank account numbers or passwords. Please don’t enter them in the form or the chat.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the site, our systems and service providers may collect your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, the page that referred you, and campaign details in the link you followed (such as UTM codes or a Google click ID). Some of this is collected through cookies and similar tools described in section 6.

Records of your consent

When you submit our application, we keep a record of the permission language you agreed to, the date and time, the page you were on and your IP address. We keep this record so we can show that you asked to be contacted.

Information from others

Funders may tell us whether they made an offer, the status of your request and whether you were funded. We may also confirm business details using public sources, such as state business registries.

2. How we use information

  • To review your request and identify funders whose guidelines may fit your business.
  • To contact you about your request and your options by phone, text or email, as you have allowed.
  • To answer questions through our live chat and provide customer support.
  • To run, secure and improve the website, including measuring which pages and campaigns are helpful.
  • To detect and prevent spam, fraud and misuse.
  • To keep business records and meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

3. How we share information

  • With funders. We share the details of your request with funders in our network that may be able to make you an offer, so they can review it and contact you. Each funder handles your information under its own privacy policy, and any agreement you sign is between your business and that funder.
  • With service providers. We use companies that help us operate, such as website hosting, form and email delivery, phone and text messaging platforms, live chat and analytics providers. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
  • For legal reasons. We may share information to comply with the law or a valid legal request, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, safety and property of Funding Today, our users or others.
  • In a business transfer. If Funding Today is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
  • With your permission. We may share information for other purposes when you ask us to or agree to it.

We don’t sell your information to data brokers, and we don’t share it with marketing lists unrelated to your funding request.

4. Calls, texts and email

If you give us permission on our application, Funding Today and the funders it works with may call and text the number you provide about business funding, including with automated dialing technology and artificial, prerecorded or AI-generated voices. Giving that permission is never a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply.

You can withdraw permission at any time in any reasonable way, for example by replying STOP to a text, telling the person or system on a call that you don’t want more calls, or calling us at (208) 748-6200. We honor these requests within the time the law allows. Funders that have your information may need to be told separately, and we can help with that.

Our emails about your request include a way to contact us. Even if you stop marketing messages, we may still send messages about a request that is in progress.

5. Live chat and call recording

The chat window on our site is provided by tawk.to. An AI assistant may answer your questions in the chat, and our team may review chat transcripts to improve our service. Please don’t share sensitive details such as account numbers in the chat. Calls with Funding Today may be recorded for quality and compliance purposes, and we tell you at the start of a call when the law requires it.

6. Cookies and similar tools

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We and our service providers use them, and similar technologies, to keep the site working, remember chat conversations, prevent spam and understand how the site is used. Our site also loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google’s servers and shares your IP address with Google.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site, such as the chat, may not work properly without them. Where state law requires it, we treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.

7. How long we keep information

We keep information for as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy, including handling your request, keeping records of your consent, resolving disputes and meeting legal obligations. When we no longer need it, we delete it or remove the details that identify you.

8. How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encrypted connections on our website. No system is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security. Please avoid sending sensitive documents by regular email; ask us for a secure way to share them.

9. Your privacy choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to receive a copy, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of your information or its use for targeted advertising. Some state laws also let you appeal if we decline your request. Our services are meant for businesses, and some laws treat information about people acting for a business differently, but we will consider any reasonable request.

To make a request, call us at (208) 748-6200 or send a message through the chat on our website. We may need to confirm your identity before we act on a request, and we will respond within the time required by the law that applies to you. You may use an authorized agent where the law allows. We will not treat you differently for exercising your privacy rights.

Funding Today does not accept funding requests from businesses located in California. If you are a California resident who visits our site or contacts us, you may have additional rights under California law, and you can use the same contact methods to make a request.

10. Children

Our services are for adults acting for a business. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Other websites

Our site links to other websites, such as news sources, government agencies and funders. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and we aren’t responsible for how they handle your information.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page, and if the changes are significant we will take reasonable steps to let you know.

Funding Today is a business funding broker, not a lender. We don’t make credit decisions or advance funds. Funding is provided by independent third-party funders that set their own approval criteria, pricing, fees and terms, and Funding Today may be compensated by a funder when you accept its offer.

A merchant cash advance is generally structured as a purchase of future receivables, not a loan. Submitting a request doesn’t guarantee approval, an offer, a specific amount or a funding time. Funding Today doesn’t work with businesses located in California. Where state law requires it, the funder provides commercial financing disclosures with its offer.
